Timur Yarnall, Co-Founder/CEO

As CEO, Co-Founder and driving force behind Broadcast Interactive Media (BIM), Timur Yarnall has been at the helm since initial start-up in early 2003. BIM itself was born amidst the hustle and bustle of New York City, but in 2005, Timur escalated the company’s growth with a calculated move to booming tech hub, Madison, WI.

Today, Timur splits time between company headquarters, a mere block off Capitol Square in Madison, and the New York sales office. BIM also has teams in Dallas, Los Angeles, and Cedar Rapids, IA.

A look back reveals Timur’s solid engineering background, including tenure at both Hughes Space and Electronics and Network Software Associates. While attending Stanford University, Timur earned his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and was a member of the Stanford Baseball team. Timur was also selected as a collegiate All-American as a member of Stanford Rugby.

Prior to BIM, Timur was Co-Founder and Vice President of Business Development of Clickability, Inc, a leading provider of Web content management solutions. There he led efforts in establishing relationships with CNN, Time Magazine, The Wall Street Journal Interactive and 160 other websites.

When Timur is not acting as resident engineer at BIM or traveling to London, Los Angeles or Louisville on a partner visit, he is an accomplished athlete. A quick eye can spot him competing in Madison’s annual half marathon, or during the colder months, skiing across frozen Lake Monona.

Timur is a contributing member of the Nature Conservancy and continues to support his alma mater, serving as a Stanford Reunions Committee Member in 2005 and 2010. A recent Board Member of Accelerate Madison, Timur presents and speaks regularly to local technology leaders.
