As Vice President, Technology, Derek is responsible for the development and planning of the CMS template architecture that has allowed BIM to aggressively grow and support a large and diverse client base. He manages the 3 internal teams that help launch new web properties, support existing web clients, and develop and implement new technology such as YouNews™ and BIMVID. Over the years, Derek has guided his team in integrating several video technologies, a wide variety of ad serving partners and a host of 3rd-party technologies to the BIM system.

Prior to joining BIM, Derek was lead programmer at TAP Media, a Milwaukee-based advertising firm that created programs such as Welcome Home, Ask the Experts, and Your Health Matters Today. These programs were acquired in 2003 and Derek joined BIM as a result of the acquisition.
