New York, NY, 2005 — Broadcast Interactive Media, a world-class guide that helps customers integrate their core business creatively and profitably onto the Web, proudly announces the launch of five non-news, entertainment-based websites: WBHQ (www.midlansdswb4.com) in Elgin, South Carolina; WTWB (www.wtwb.com) in Greensboro, North Carolina; WRBU (www.upn46stl.com) in Saint Louis, Missouri; WFLI (www.wflitv.com) in Chattanooga, Tennessee and KSMO (www.ksmotv.com) in Kansas City, Missouri.
Broadcast Interactive Media involves the station in site strategy, developing the site’s focus by pinpointing priorities like high-profile shows, contests and events.
Programming is the primary focus, with each website featuring “Tonight On” to highlight the network’s primetime shows by displaying the show’s title, synopsis, time and photo.
Network-specific news is featured in its own site section, and streaming video and polls, updated daily, keep the content fresh.
Broadcast Interactive Media also works with stations to personalize their sites, collaborating with KSMO to create a network of cameras providing live images of the city, a recipe section and feeds for local news and weather from KSMO’s sister station, KCTV.
Each site also features Broadcast Interactive Content Packages, which include information on music, movies, fashion, beauty, fitness, health and technology.
